At Uber, we’re committed to supporting our partners by providing them the feedback needed to improve their star ratings. In recent driver surveys, rider feedback was the #1 item drivers requested from us, and we listened! In the past week, we received the below feedback from your riders.


What does Altercation mean?

A rider wrote to us stating that you were arguing with them during a recent trip. We realize that some riders might be challenging to please, but please maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times. Riders want a 5 star level of service.

How can I improve?

The best way to avoid the ‘Altercation’ complaint is to strive to provide your rider with 5 star service and to avoid unnecessary disagreements while on trips. Even if a rider is acting rude or inappropriately, please try to remain calm and polite while speaking with them.
