Starting a creative business takes passion, talent, and time. Elizabeth Osipova of Lynn had loads of passion and talent but her schedule was tight as she planned to start her own photography and design shop. Thanks to driving with Uber, she found all the time she needed to launch her brand Euphoria Photography and Design.
“Uber gave me the time and flexibility to work on building my brand and my creative side to launch my own company.”
Besides giving her time to pursue her creative passions, driving has helped Elizabeth find new clients. Her riders-turned-clients include a DJ in need of a new logo and photo for his rebrand, a ballerina seeking some professional headshots, and a father planning a family Christmas photoshoot.
“It’s a bonding moment as you drive someone and share stories. I meet interesting people from all over the world.”
Elizabeth’s love for photography began at age ten, but her professional interest began in tandem with her graphic design career. Elizabeth now specializes in portraits but also enjoys landscape photography. She believes that the most important elements to keep in mind are the lighting, angle, and composition.
“I definitely have a signature look but I love experimenting and trying different things. I like to tell a story through photography.”
As she drives around Boston, Elizabeth’s artistic eye scopes out the scenery. The Charles River, Tobin Bridge, and Mount Auburn Cemetery are her favorite spots. Elizabeth’s charisma and creativity drive her success on and off the road. Her riders have described her as an “absolute gem” who offers “top-notch service from pickup to drop-off.”
