At Uber, we’re committed to supporting our partners by providing them the feedback needed to improve their star ratings. In recent driver surveys, rider feedback was the #1 item drivers requested from us, and we listened! In the past week, we received the below feedback from your riders.

What does Wrong License Plate mean?

A rider let us know that you picked them up in a vehicle with a different license plate than what is shown on the vehicle on your account. This can really confuse riders and increase pick up times as they are looking for a different car. It is important that you only drive the vehicle that you have uploaded in the Uber system.

How can I improve?

The best way to avoid an ‘Wrong License Plate’ complaint is to have Uber update the license plate on the vehicle. In order for Uber to update the license plate, please reply to this email telling us what the new license plate is. Also attach the appropriate documents, including a copy of the registration showing the license plate and the vin as well as a photo of the license plate on the vehicle.

If we continue to receive negative feedback from riders that impacts your rating, your account will be reviewed and may be deactivated.
